Community events held and scheduled in Berlin and Hamburg

Various local community and cultural events are scheduled or have taken place in Germany.

In Berlin, the 14th traditional allotment garden hike organized by the Marzahn and Hellersdorf district associations occurred on August 1, 2026. Despite rainy weather, 18 participants completed the route, which included stops at the Butzer See and various historical landmarks. The hike, led by Frank Beiersdorff, covered approximately seven kilometers, passing through the Kaulsdorf landscape protection area and ending at the 'Am Fuchsberg' allotment garden.

In Hamburg, the 14th City Jazzwalk is set for August 9, 2026. The event will feature seven different musical locations around the Außenalster, offering a variety of jazz styles from Dixieland to Blues. Organized by the non-profit association Swinging Hamburg e. V., the walk allows participants to move between venues like Braband Bistro & Wein and Café Leinpfad to enjoy live performances throughout the day.
