Summer community and cultural events in Germany

Various community, cultural, and gastronomic events are taking place across German cities during the summer of 2026.

In early August, Berlin hosted a traditional allotment garden hike through the Kaulsdorf landscape protection area. Concurrently, Hamburg scheduled the 14th City Jazzwalk, featuring musical performances at multiple locations around the Außenalster.

By late August and into September, the focus in Hamburg shifted toward large-scale culinary and music festivals. On August 29, the Gaumen Disco gastronomic festival is scheduled to take place at the Tranquillo courtyard and Black Delight coffee roastery, featuring various restaurants such as Koer, Sunday Service, and TWOAlphas, alongside natural wine and free coffee.

On the same day, a large summer edition of an Ü30 party will be held at Karoline near the Hamburg Messe, offering four dance floors with genres ranging from house and electro to 80s and 90s classics, complemented by outdoor food stations. Other upcoming culinary celebrations in the city include a Thai Food Festival in Schanzenpark on September 13 and an African Food Festival at Schröderstiftstraße on September 20.
