Community groups in Germany host local social gatherings

Various community groups in Germany recently held social gatherings to foster connection among local residents. In the Lindau district, 16 daycare providers participated in an annual excursion to Legau. The group visited the Rapunzel-Welt company to learn about its history and corporate philosophy, using the opportunity to exchange professional experiences and strengthen social bonds.

In Rommerskirchen, the association ‘Heimat + Historie – NE-BU 962’ hosted its fifth senior café at the Gillbach-Schänke. Approximately 40 participants, including residents aged 75 and older, attended the event. The gathering featured a historical photo presentation by Hans-Josef Huthmacher and was attended by Deputy Mayor Bianka Ulanio-Mischtal, who commended the association’s commitment to the elderly population in Nettesheim and Butzheim.
