Community Halloween events held in Canada

Various Halloween-themed community events are taking place in Canada. The Trail and District Arts Council is hosting ‘On the Record Storytelling’ in Rossland on October 25. The event invites participants to share true, spooky, or humorous personal tales for up to 10 minutes. Performers are not permitted to use technology or read from scripts, and the show is intended for all ages.

In another seasonal activity, the ‘Boo at the Zoo’ event is running at the Assiniboine Park Zoo through October 31. The event is designed for young children, offering spooky but non-scary festivities including encounters with characters like Patch the Scarecrow.
