Halloween celebrations in France and Canada

Halloween-themed cultural and community activities are being organized across France and Canada.

In France, celebrations include musical candlelight concerts in Paris, Japanese horror film screenings in Marseille, and immersive festivals and walks in various regions. In the Beauce region, Destination Beauce has organized nearly 30 activities, such as haunted houses and themed runs. Other regional events include a wellness and divination salon in Le Rove, themed animal menus and nocturnal tours at Wow Safari Peaugres, and fireworks with a dedicated Halloween village in Guiguitte.

Additionally, the Village Gaulois in Rieux-Volvestre is hosting ‘Samonios’ from October 17 to November 1, 2026, focusing on the Celtic New Year through historical demonstrations and artisan workshops to explore the origins of the holiday.

In Canada, the Beauce region has scheduled nearly 30 activities, such as haunted houses and themed runs. Community events include the ‘Boo at the Zoo’ festivities at Assiniboine Park Zoo, designed for young children with non-scary encounters, and the ‘On the Record Storytelling’ event in Rossland on October 25, where participants share personal tales without the use of technology or scripts.
