Community organizations conduct humanitarian aid initiatives in Burkina Faso and Benin
Various humanitarian and social initiatives were conducted in Burkina Faso and Benin to support vulnerable populations.
In Léo, Burkina Faso, the establishment ‘Point Final’ marked its first anniversary by organizing a road safety awareness caravan. The initiative, led by promoter Damien Sidibé, included the distribution of approximately thirty helmets to road users to encourage safety compliance. Additionally, food supplies were donated to the Sissili Provincial Emergency Relief and Rehabilitation Council (COPROSUR) to assist local vulnerable residents.
In Benin, the NGO Amour-Vie-Solidarité (AVS-ONG) provided ten bicycles to orphans at the Compassion de Zè orphanage. Led by President Eugénie Dossa, the donation aims to assist children in traveling to schools located many kilometers away and to improve their overall living conditions. This follows a previous distribution of school kits by the organization.
