Community programs launch in Argentina and Mexico
In Argentina, the RECONECT-AR project has launched a free training workshop to develop Territorial Promoters for the prevention of cyber-gambling and problematic digital consumption. Aimed primarily at youth up to 25 years old, the initiative involves participants from Río Gallegos, Pico Truncado, and Caleta Olivia. The program focuses on active listening and community-based prevention, empowering young people to lead awareness sessions in schools, clubs, and community centers.
In Mexico, the Cirkomunidad project is introducing free circus arts workshops in Reynosa, Tamaulipas. Starting October 10, the activities will take place at the Centro de Bienestar y Paz on Saturdays and Sundays. This cultural initiative, part of the ITCA 2026 Program for Cultural Training, Management, and Development, is open to people of all ages and aims to promote artistic expression within the community.
