Community remembrance events planned in the Netherlands

Various community initiatives in the Netherlands are providing spaces for remembrance and mourning. In the Sint Petruskerk, a special prayer service will be held on October 30 to mark the eve of All Saints' Day. The event features a light show, over one thousand candles, and musical performances by Maurice Monet, Nikenia Martis, and the Deux Bornes parish choir from Udense.

Additionally, the Rouwen & Vieren Kas is scheduled to open at the Grote Kerkhof in Deventer from December 16 to 27. This temporary meeting place aims to offer comfort for those experiencing loss, whether related to death, health, relationships, or employment. The Stichting Rouwen & Vieren Deventer is currently seeking sponsors to help realize the project.
