Youth programs and summer activities conclude across multiple regions

Various regions across Latin America and Europe are concluding summer programs and youth initiatives. In Mexico, municipal governments in Cuautlancingo, Apizaco, and Quintana Roo have completed summer courses focused on sports, culture, and health, with some programs providing free orthopedic supplies or identifying athletic talent. In Morelia, the ‘Conecta +’ forum engaged over 2,000 young people with social and political leaders. Additionally, the IEQROO has launched a contest for the 2027 electoral slogan, and Michoacán has inaugurated ‘Espacio Michoacán’ to showcase regional crafts.

In Spain, the Comunidad de Madrid’s ‘Destino: Verano’ program provided cultural and environmental workshops to over 5,400 students. In Colombia, the Javeriano school secured a basketball title in the Intercolegiados games. In Guatemala, the 2026 National Youth Sports Games commenced with bowling competitions. In the Dominican Republic, the Los Alcarrizos municipality concluded a summer camp for 2,500 children, including the distribution of school supplies.
