Community Support Fund offers free workshops to boost income

The Community Support Fund (FAC) is providing free culinary and craft workshops designed to promote professional qualification, financial independence, and income generation. These programs specifically target individuals in situations of social vulnerability by combining practical learning with entrepreneurial guidance.

Participants receive training in various aspects of small business management, including food preparation techniques, pricing, cost reduction, marketing, and food hygiene. FAC President Adir Diniz noted that the workshops cover specialized topics such as productive inclusion, circular economy, and sustainable culinary practices to support entrepreneurship.

One participant, 66-year-old Maria Solange Lencina, utilized the ‘Mão na Massa’ workshop in Jardim Noroeste to diversify her food business. After previously selling sopa paraguaya, she learned to prepare saltenhas and implement better production and sales strategies to expand her income.
