Como 1907 extends Tasos Douvikas contract until 2031
Italian Serie A club Como 1907 has officially announced a long-term contract extension for Greek international forward Tasos Douvikas. The 27-year-old striker, who joined the club in early 2025, has signed a deal that keeps him at the club through June 2031.
The extension follows a period of exceptional form for Douvikas. Since joining from Celta Vigo, he has recorded 68 appearances, scoring 27 goals and providing five assists across all competitions. During the previous season, he finished as the second-highest scorer in Serie A with 14 goals. In the current 2026-27 campaign, he has maintained his momentum with eight goals in 11 appearances, including scoring in the UEFA Champions League.
Under the new terms, Douvikas' annual salary is expected to increase to approximately three million euros. Following the announcement, Douvikas expressed his happiness, stating, “I’ve felt right at home from the very beginning and immediately sensed the club’s ambition. I’ve grown a lot since I arrived, thanks to Coach Fabregas and his staff.”
Como manager Cesc Fabregas praised the forward's mentality and work ethic, noting that his positive attitude is clearly reflected in his on-field performances.
