Callejero Fino remains detained in illegal weapon investigation
Argentine RKT singer Callejero Fino, identified as Simón Nattanael Alvarenga, remains in custody following an investigation into the illegal possession of a firearm. The case centers on a Glock .40 pistol with filed-off serial numbers found in a Volkswagen Amarok V6 being driven without license plates.
Prosecutor Cosme Iribarren has clarified that while a relative of the singer was initially under suspicion, evidence indicates the vehicle was operated by Alvarenga in the 48 hours preceding the arrest. The singer's defense, led by attorney Diego Storto, argues that the weapon was possessed due to death threats against the artist and his son.
Alvarenga has provided a formal statement to the judiciary, denying involvement in criminal associations and seeking to overturn his preventive detention. Investigators are currently conducting forensic analysis on electronic devices and working to establish the traceability of the weapon to determine its origin and whether it has been linked to other crimes.
