Computex 2026 unveils Nvidia's first PC CPU and Intel's gaming handheld processor

At Computex 2026 in Taipei, Nvidia announced its inaugural PC‑class processor, the RTX Spark ARM chip, featuring a 20‑core CPU, 6,144 CUDA cores and up to 1 petaflop of AI performance. The company emphasized on‑device AI and expects the chip to ship in laptops and mini‑PCs later in the year.

Intel introduced its first gaming‑handheld processor, the Arc G3 Extreme, which powers new devices such as the MSI Claw 8 EX AI+ and Acer Predator Atlas 8, delivering smooth 60 fps gameplay in titles like Forza Horizon 6 and Hogwarts Legacy. Samsung showcased the world's first 4K 360 Hz QD‑OLED panel, a 32‑inch display with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600 certification. Microsoft unveiled the Surface Laptop Ultra, built around Nvidia’s RTX Spark processor and a 15‑inch mini‑LED panel. Dell highlighted an affordable XPS 13 laptop priced at $599 for students.
