Concepción del Uruguay expands agricultural education with new diploma and mobile innovation truck

The Universidad de Concepción del Uruguay (UCU) announced a new Diplomatura in Operation, Maintenance and Technology of Agricultural Machinery. The program, supported by the municipal government, the EPPE agency and the regional INTA, targets operators, technicians, rural workers and entrepreneurs, offering eight in‑person modules focused on modern equipment, AI, and safety. Classes will be held at UCU’s Agro‑Technological Center in the city of Urdinarrain.

At the same time, the municipal authorities hosted the Lartirigoyen‑sponsored Camión de Innovación Agropecuaria, an interactive mobile classroom that visited Concepción del Uruguay on 29‑30 July. The truck presented “Innovation and industrialisation in agro‑production” to secondary and university students, showcasing current technologies, sustainable practices and career opportunities in the Argentine agribusiness sector.
