Concepción del Uruguay hosts film sessions at Unidad Penal N° 4

The Culture Directorate of the Municipality of Concepción del Uruguay and the Pocho Lepratti Group organized a film session at Unidad Penal N° 4. The event was specifically designed for incarcerated individuals who are currently pursuing their secondary education.

The program utilizes audiovisual language as an educational and social transformation tool. The films selected for the session addressed themes such as inclusion, human rights, coexistence, equality of opportunity, and the development of life projects. These screenings aim to foster collective reflection and dialogue regarding social issues and personal experiences.

Aníbal Beorda, the Director of Culture, emphasized the importance of bringing cinema to various community spaces to stimulate critical thinking and strengthen social bonds, noting that culture serves as a tool to transform realities.
