Concepción del Uruguay hosts youth mental‑health day and elder‑care training

On 14 August, the municipality of Concepción del Uruguay will hold the first edition of the Jornada de Salud Mental y Juventudes. The free, two‑shift event features central talks by mental‑health content creator Sofía Calvo and philosopher‑writer Eial Moldavsky, along with more than ten simultaneous workshops covering anxiety, depression, bullying, self‑harm, digital well‑being and related topics.

Earlier, a joint initiative between the municipal Directorate of Adultos Mayores and the Universidad Autónoma de Entre Ríos (UADER) launched an introductory course on comprehensive care for older adults. The first session on 25 July attracted over 120 participants, fully filling the available slots. Classes run each Saturday morning in the school’s SUM, and organisers plan a new cohort for the following year due to strong demand.
