ConectCar launches automatic toll payment for motorcycles in Brazil

ConectCar announced the Free Flow Moto service, the first solution in Brazil to automate toll payments for motorcycles on free‑flow highways. The system, released as a minimum‑viable‑product, is initially offered to a select group of customers. Motorcyclists register their vehicle’s plate on the ConectCar platform; cameras at the toll points identify the plate and automatically debit the fee from the user’s ConectCar account, removing the need to locate the concessionaire, access an app or website, and pay within 30 days. The service is limited to free‑flow toll plazas operated by CCR RioSP, Caminhos da Serra Gaúcha and EPR Sul Minas and does not work at conventional toll booths or parking facilities. It aims to reduce the high number of evasion fines that prompted the federal government to suspend more than three million such penalties earlier in 2026. ConectCar says it now covers 100 % of Brazil’s tolled roads and over 1,300 parking lots, expanding its mobility‑technology portfolio beyond tag‑based solutions.
