Vietnamese music competitions reach final stages

Major Vietnamese music reality competitions, Anh Trai Vượt Ngàn Chông Gai and Tinh Hà Say Hi, are reaching critical stages. In Anh Trai Vượt Ngàn Chông Gai, the competition has entered its fifth performance phase, titled ‘Bập bùng bập bùng’. The previous alliances have dissolved to form four new houses: Nhà Thăng Hoa, Nhà Hào Môn, Nhà Lục Lạc, and Nhà Lẫy Lừng. During the ‘Khởi Lửa’ round, Nhà Lục Lạc and Nhà Lẫy Lừng emerged as winners, gaining advantages for the final showdown. Notable performances included a duet between Hoàng Dũng and Hà An Huy.

Simultaneously, the Tinh Hà Say Hi competition has moved into its final stage with the top 16 contestants. The performers are integrating Vietnamese traditional cultural elements into modern genres like R&B, Hip Hop, and Rap. Highlights include buitruonglinh using the ‘đàn đáy’ instrument and various artists exploring themes of connection and heritage through contemporary musical lenses.
