The Vietnamese music competition ‘Anh Trai Vượt Ngàn Chông Gai’ has progressed through several stages focused on integrating traditional cultural heritage with modern performances.

During the fourth performance round, participants utilized regional musical styles such as Northern folk songs, Southern ‘đờn ca tài tử’, and Tày ethnic music. Specific acts incorporated ‘hát then’ and the ‘đàn tính’ instrument to honor Tày culture, while themes centered on Vietnamese legends like Lac Long Quan - Au Co, Thanh Giong, and Thach Sanh.

As the competition moved into its fifth performance phase, titled ‘Bập bùng bập bùng’, previous alliances dissolved to form four new groups: Nhà Thăng Hoa, Nhà Hào Môn, Nhà Lục Lạc, and Nhà Lẫy Lừng. Following the ‘Khởi Lửa’ round, Nhà Lục Lạc and Nhà Lẫy Lừng were declared winners, securing advantages for the final showdown.
