Congo Terminal completes new refrigerated storage facility in Pointe-Noire

Congo Terminal has completed the structural construction of a new refrigerated storage park at the Môle Est port platform. The project included the installation of 24 reefer walkways, adding 1,680 refrigerated connections to the facility.

This expansion increases Congo Terminal’s total capacity from 1,869 to 3,549 refrigerated connections. The infrastructure is designed to support the growing regional demand for frozen and perishable goods by ensuring thermal continuity from reception to shipment.

Emmanuel Addo, Operations Director of Congo Terminal, stated that the capacity increase responds to the evolving needs of the sub-region and strengthens the company’s role in the cold chain for logistics and agrifood operators.
