Conmebol secures broadcasting deals with Globo and Paramount+ for Libertadores
Conmebol has announced new broadcasting agreements for the Copa Libertadores in Brazil, covering the period from 2027 to 2030. The deals involve Globo and Paramount+, expanding the availability of matches for Brazilian viewers.
Under the new arrangement, SporTV will return to broadcasting the tournament, providing complementary coverage to TV Globo and GE TV. SporTV will have the rights to 41 matches per season, including 24 group stage games, two round-of-16 matches, one quarter-final, one semi-final, and the final.
Paramount+ has also renewed its contract, maintaining the right to broadcast 41 matches per season. Notably, the new agreement grants Paramount+ the rights to broadcast the tournament final, a feature not included in its previous contract. The agreements also extend to other Conmebol competitions, such as the Women's Libertadores, U-20 Libertadores, and various futsal and beach soccer tournaments.
