Conmebol Copa Libertadores broadcasting rights

Overview

Conmebol has established new broadcasting agreements for the Copa Libertadores in Brazil for the 2027–2030 period.

Under the new structure, secondary broadcasting rights are split between Grupo Globo (via SporTV) and Paramount+. Both providers will broadcast 41 matches per season, including coverage of the tournament finals. The rights for SporTV include 24 group stage games, two round-of-16 matches, one quarter-final, one semi-final, and the final. Paramount+ has also renewed its contract, notably gaining the right to broadcast the tournament final, which was not part of its previous agreement.

Disney remains the primary rights holder, maintaining the largest volume of matches with 82 games to be aired on ESPN and Disney Plus. The agreements also extend to other Conmebol competitions, including the Women’s Libertadores, U-20 Libertadores, and various futsal and beach soccer tournaments.
