CONMEBOL splits Libertadores broadcasting rights for 2027–2030
CONMEBOL has announced the broadcasting rights distribution for the Copa Libertadores for the period between 2027 and 2030. In a departure from previous structures, the secondary rights package will be split between two providers: Grupo Globo (SporTV) and Paramount+. Each entity will be responsible for 41 matches per season.
Under this new arrangement, both SporTV and Paramount+ will have the right to broadcast the tournament finals live. The secondary package includes matches from the preliminary stages, the group stage, and knockout rounds such as the round of 16, quarterfinals, and semifinals.
Disney remains the primary rights holder, maintaining the main package which includes 82 matches to be aired on ESPN and Disney Plus. This ensures Disney continues to hold the largest volume of matches for the tournament.
