Constantin Brâncuși legacy honored through Romanian art exhibitions
Various cultural initiatives in Romania are highlighting the legacy of sculptor Constantin Brâncuși. In Peștișani, a special collection of leather accessories by Florina Soul is being exhibited at Pensiunea ‘La Moara’ until October 7. The collection draws inspiration from Brâncuși’s artistic universe and traditional Romanian symbols, connecting contemporary craftsmanship with the sculptor's birthplace.
Simultaneously, the Art Safari event, supported by the Romanian Cultural Institute, is hosting a world premiere of 40 photographs by Brâncuși. These photographs, held in the collection of the University of Art and Design in Cluj-Napoca, explore the artist's relationship with the women who influenced his work. The exhibition features over 200 works and documents, including films, letters, and drawings.
