In late July 2026, the Romanian Cultural Institute launched the ‘Un-hidden Connections’ project in Belgrade, Serbia, using the Cantemir Programme to reinterpret Constantin Brâncuși’s sculptures through urban art and cross-border cultural dialogue. At Sutu Palace in Bucharest, the photography exhibition ‘Trecut-au anii 2026’ is being hosted by the Bucharest Municipality Museum and the ‘Bucureștiul meu drag’ Association, featuring photographers recreating 1990s documentary images. In Timișoara, the ‘Picasso en visite’ exhibition, held in partnership with Musée Picasso, Antibes, displays 69 works and offers a multilingual audio guide. Additionally, the Unirii Museum in Iași is offering free admission on 12 September to celebrate European Heritage Days. In mid-September 2026, celebrations for the 150th anniversary of Brâncuși’s birth expanded internationally. In Tallinn, Estonia, a pop-up exhibition titled ‘Mõõt ja mõte’ (Dimension and Meaning) opened at the Tallinn TV Tower, creating a dialogue between Brâncuși’s monumental art and works by three young sculptors from the Estonian Academy of Arts.
