Croatia signs €252 million contract for A7 Jadranovo‑Selce segment

A contract worth €252 million (excluding VAT) was signed in Crikvenica for the construction of the 12.3‑km Jadranovo‑Selce section of Croatia’s A7 highway, part of the European route E65. The agreement, between Hrvatske autoceste (HAC) and a consortium led by Kolektor CPG that includes Kolektor Koling, CGP, Gorenjska Gradbena družba and Euro‑Asfalt, sets a 42‑month deadline for completion.

The project will feature eight tunnels, eleven viaducts and bridges, and extensive ancillary works to improve traffic safety, relieve the coastal road and stimulate economic development in the Primorje‑Gorski Kotar region. Officials present at the signing included HAC president Boris Huzjan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Sea, Transport and Infrastructure Oleg Butković, and deputy prefect of Primorje‑Gorski Kotar Robert Matić, who highlighted the expected benefits for local residents and tourism.

Construction is slated to begin in the autumn, marking the continuation of the A7 corridor from Križišće toward Žuta Lokva and strengthening Croatia’s transport network.
