Construction workers injured by electrical shocks in Mexico

Two separate construction accidents involving electrical shocks were reported in Mexico.

In Guasave, Sinaloa, a 38-year-old construction worker identified as Juan “N” was injured while working on the second floor of a building. The accident occurred when metal scaffolding components made contact with medium-voltage power lines. Firefighters and Civil Protection used specialized rope maneuvers to rescue the worker from the roof. He was treated by the Mexican Red Cross and transported to the IMSS-Bienestar Hospital for injuries to his hands and feet.

In La Paz, Baja California Sur, a masonry worker was injured while working at a temple in the Los Olivos neighborhood. The individual reportedly made contact with high-voltage lines while handling a metal rod. Emergency responders provided pre-hospital care before transferring the worker to the Juan María de Salvatierra General Hospital for observation and treatment.
