Contemporary art exhibitions announced in Italy

Several contemporary art exhibitions are scheduled in Italy, focusing on the relationship between artistic expression and territory.

At Orizzonti Arte Contemporanea, the exhibition ‘RANDAGI’ features a dual presentation by artists Gianfranco Asveri and Gianmaria Giannetti. The showcase explores the freedom of gesture and matter in painting, with Asveri focusing on physical presences through nature and animals, while Giannetti investigates the gap between reality and possibility through unstable imagery.

In Montegiorgio, the ‘Territori Sensibili’ review, curated by Luigi Lai and Nancy Biraschi for MoonArt Gallery, will take place at the Chiostro di Sant’Agostino from September 11 to 19. The event features works from 62 artists across Italy, aiming to integrate art into inland villages to promote local historical and cultural heritage. The opening will include a musical performance by Dario Aspesani.
