Contemporary art exhibitions launch across Italy and the UK
Various contemporary art exhibitions and cultural programs are launching across Italy and the United Kingdom.
In London, the NOAM XXIe Siècle global program debuted at the Serpentine Pavilion with Izaak Brandt’s performance ‘Soft Shell’, which integrates sculpture and breaking dance. In Italy, several notable events are scheduled: the ContempoART 2026 exhibition opens in Pisa, and the ‘LandEscape’ tri-person show begins in Bologna. The ‘Over The Real’ festival will take place in Lucca and Pietrasanta, focusing on the intersection of video art and new technologies like AI.
Other significant displays include the unveiling of the Cocif Collection in Longiano, featuring 20th-century masters like Giorgio de Chirico and Antonio Ligabue, and a retrospective of English illustrator Pauline Baynes, known for her work on Tolkien and C.S. Lewis classics. Additionally, Peppe Ferraro will inaugurate his ‘Zolle’ exhibition in Marcianise, and Laura Libera Lupo will present Mediterranean-themed works in Salerno.
