Continental Stock Transfer Chooses Securitize as Preferred Tokenization Partner

Continental Stock Transfer & Trust Company announced a partnership with Securitize, designating the firm as its preferred tokenization partner. The collaboration will give Continental’s issuer clients—including SPACs, IPOs and publicly traded companies—access to regulated blockchain‑based infrastructure for securities ownership, distribution and capital‑market solutions while preserving traditional market standards.

Securitize, an SEC‑registered transfer agent, broker‑dealer and FINRA member, will provide a full stack of services such as proprietary transfer‑agent technology, KYC/AML onboarding and investor accreditation workflows. "Continental has been the gold standard in SPAC processing for over 20 years," said Carlos Domingo, co‑founder and CEO of Securitize. "We’re excited to help bring tokenization capabilities to a broader segment of the market."

Continental will also support the Cantor Equity Partners II business combination, acting as exchange agent and transfer agent for the merged entity expected to trade on the NYSE under the ticker SECZ. Steven Nelson, Chairman and President of Continental, noted that Securitize gives issuers access to best‑in‑class tokenization infrastructure while preserving Continental’s high‑touch service model. The partnership reflects growing regulatory clarity, highlighted by recent SEC guidance that treats tokenized securities under the same rules as traditional securities.
