Contorno do Corpo invests R$30 million to launch four new gyms in Belo Horizonte

Contorno do Corpo, a Brazilian fitness chain, opened four new academies in Belo Horizonte, investing approximately R$30 million. The openings took place between 22 April and 18 May 2024 at locations in the neighborhoods of Lourdes (Avenida Olegário Maciel), Bernardo Vasconcelos (Avenida Bernardo Vasconcelos), Raja Gabáglia (Avenida Raja Gabáglia) and Castelo (Centro de Treinamento Castelo).

The new units follow the chain’s premium format, offering equipment from recognized brands, extensive cardio areas with connectivity, climate‑controlled rooms, massage chairs, coworking zones and outdoor activity spaces. The Lourdes Prime facility includes upscale locker rooms, individual changing boxes and a dressing‑room setup. With this expansion the network now operates 57 units in 22 Brazilian cities and aims for about 80 locations by 2026 and 100 in the longer term.
