CONVEGA organizes guided walks on award-winning GR-92 trail

The Consortium for the Economic Development of the Vega Baja (CONVEGA) has organized two guided walks along the GR-92 Mediterranean Trail to highlight the region's natural, historical, and cultural heritage. The trail's sections in Vega Baja were recently named the Best Approved Trail of 2025 for the Valencian Community by the regional Mountaineering and Climbing Federation (FEMECV).

The first free excursion is scheduled for Sunday, October 4, covering Stage 21 between Guardamar del Segura and Torrevieja. This 15-kilometer route, rated at low-to-moderate difficulty, includes sites such as Els Tossals beach, the mouth of the Segura River, the San Antoni watermill, and Guardamar Castle. The event is limited to 100 participants and includes professional guides, refreshments, insurance, and organized transport between route sections.

A second guided walk is planned for November 8, following Stage 22 through Torrevieja, Orihuela Costa, and Pilar de la Horadada.
