Conversano and Venosa Face Water Supply Cuts

The municipality of Conversano (Italy) announced that Acquedotto Pugliese will suspend water service for an estimated 21 hours, from 09:00 UTC on 16 June to 06:00 UTC on 17 June. The interruption is required for extensive maintenance on the primary regulation and pressure‑control equipment of the main supply line. All households in the town, except those on SP240 – Via Castellana near the Quattrolinari junction and the industrial zone on Via Castiglione, will be affected. The city will provide a mobile water tank at Piazza Castello, and Mayor Giuseppe Lovascio said the work is essential to improve service reliability.

In Venosa, Acquedotto Lucano reported an unexpected electrical failure at its plant, leading to a water outage for the entire community from 18:35 to 20:30 on 12 June 2026. Residents were notified of the short‑term interruption and advised to plan accordingly.
