Cooper Maher and Benjamin Morgan sentenced for domestic violence

Cooper Christopher Maher, a North Albury man, was sentenced by Albury Local Court to three years and three months in jail, with a minimum term of two years before parole eligibility, after pleading guilty to assault, intimidation and property damage linked to domestic violence against two former partners.

Benjamin Morgan, 29, was convicted at Hull Crown Court for a series of assaults, including actual bodily harm and suffocating his partner, as well as intimidation and coercive control. He received a custodial sentence for the offenses, which also included threatening his partner with murder and degrading behaviour such as urinating in her shoes.
