Copa Airlines to launch new route to Margarita Island

Copa Airlines is launching a new commercial route between Panama and Porlamar, scheduled to begin operations on November 26. The service will feature three weekly flights, operating on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

To promote the new route, the airline partnered with 17 local tourism companies to host a “Mega Fam Trip.” A direct charter flight from Panama recently brought over 150 guests to the island, including travel agencies, wholesalers, influencers, and industry executives, to experience the destination's tourism and business potential.

Porlamar becomes the sixth destination in Venezuela for Copa Airlines, joining Caracas, Maracaibo, Valencia, Barquisimeto, and Barcelona. This expansion aims to strengthen aerial connectivity and link the island to more than 85 destinations across the continent.
