Copa Airlines to launch Panama-Porlamar route to Margarita Island

Copa Airlines will inaugurate a new direct flight route between Panama and Porlamar on November 26. This service will connect Margarita Island in Venezuela's Nueva Esparta state to more than 50 international destinations through the Hub of the Americas.

The route will operate three times per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. These flights will provide links to 17 cities in the United States, as well as various major capitals across Latin America and Europe. This marks the airline's sixth destination within Venezuela, following three years of coordination with local transportation and hotel sectors.

To promote the new service, the airline conducted a large-scale familiarization trip for approximately 150 travel agents and content creators to showcase the island's tourism potential. The airline also highlighted its 'Panama Stopover' program, which allows passengers to make a tourist stop in Panama for between 24 hours and 15 days at no additional cost.
