Coppa del Chianti Classico to host 132 vehicles for 43rd edition

The 43rd Coppa del Chianti Classico is scheduled to take place from September 18 to 20 along the Chiantigiana 222 route. Organized by the Targa Racing Club, this event serves as the penultimate round of the 2026 Campionato Italiano Velocità Salita Auto Storiche (CIVSA).

The competition features a starting list of 132 vehicles, including 113 historic cars and 19 modern cars. Notable participants include Salvatore Riolo, the current championship leader and organizer, as well as Denny Zardo and Piero Lottini.

Among the competitors is Maurizio Rossi, driving a Bogani Alfa Romeo 2.5. Rossi enters the event as the mathematically confirmed Italian Class Champion in the JR SN 2500 category (4th Group), using this race as an opportunity to celebrate his title.
