South American football: Copa Libertadores draw and Chilean transfer updates

Various football developments are occurring across South American leagues. In the Copa Libertadores round of 16 first leg, Platense and Coquimbo Unido played to a 1-1 draw in Vicente López, with Coquimbo Unido securing a late equalizer in the 93rd minute via Guido Vadalá.

In Chile, the transfer market has concluded. Universidad de Chile officially announced the signing of defender Igor Lichnovsky, while also seeing the departure of Franco Calderón to Independiente de Avellaneda.
