Corato and Acquaviva Collecroce hold major Marian celebrations in Italy

The town of Corato in Puglia marked the traditional feast of its patron Madonna Greca with a solemn liturgy on the sanctuary forecourt. Bishop Leonardo D'Ascenzo led the ceremony, joined by local priests, civil authorities and a large gathering of residents who participated in the procession of the Marian image through the city streets.

In the Molise town of Acquaviva Collecroce, a pilgrim statue of Our Lady of Fatima arrived on July 19 and remained on display until July 22. The event featured daily recitations of the Rosary, multiple Masses, a Marian prayer hour, a night‑time torchlight procession, and an evening film screening about Fatima, drawing faithful and visitors to the church and surrounding streets.
