Cordelia Cruises expands fleet with Cordelia Sky debut in Mumbai
Cordelia Cruises is expanding its fleet with the addition of the Cordelia Sky, a vessel formerly known as the Norwegian Sky. The ship, which underwent refurbishment in Yalova, Turkey, is scheduled to make its Mumbai debut on 23 October 2026.
Significantly larger than the company’s first vessel, the Cordelia Empress, the Cordelia Sky measures 258 metres in length and over 77,000 gross tonnes. The ship features 1,002 staterooms, 10 restaurants, 11 bars, a 930-seat theatre, and various recreational facilities including a spa and sports areas.
Initial itineraries will include two- to five-night roundtrips from Mumbai to destinations such as Goa and the Lakshadweep Islands. Looking ahead to summer 2027, the cruise line plans to offer seven-night Southeast Asia voyages departing from Chennai to locations including Phuket, Langkawi, Kuala Lumpur, and Singapore.
