Corfo launches Tarapacá + Emprendedor program to foster innovation in Chile's Tarapacá
Corfo’s regional instrument Potencia Asociativo has opened the “Tarapacá + Emprendedor” program, accepting applications until 6 September. The 36‑month initiative, executed by Cordenor and co‑executed by Codesser, aims to build capacities for early‑stage entrepreneurs in the Tarapacá region. It will select 15 projects that demonstrate innovative solutions, growth potential and committed teams. Participants will receive applied training, diagnostics, mentorship, technical support, network access and preparation for financing. The program also seeks to increase women’s participation and expand territorial coverage while maintaining transparent selection criteria. Regional Corfo director Espártago Ferrari and program director María José Valdivia highlighted the goal of creating a sustained pipeline of innovative businesses that can later enter incubation, acceleration and funding stages.
