São Paulo FC signs R$ 140M Ticketmaster deal to manage stadium operations

São Paulo FC has secured a strategic partnership with Ticketmaster to manage ticket sales for Morumbis and its fan membership program for the next five years. The deal, approved by the club's Deliberative Council with 184 votes in favor and 44 against, is valued at R$ 140 million. This includes R$ 110 million in anticipated revenue and R$ 30 million from the exploitation of the 29A VIP box.

Following the agreement, Ticketmaster provided an immediate R$ 8 million advance, which the club used to pay one month of overdue image rights to its players. While this provides immediate cash flow relief, the club still faces three months of outstanding image rights payments. The contract is structured as a loan to be repaid over five years with interest.

Separately, Corinthians is facing legal challenges regarding its sponsorship with Fatal Fans, an adult content platform. A court order has suspended the display of the brand on club property, including uniforms and digital channels, due to concerns regarding the protection of children and adolescents. The club is currently working with the sponsor and legal departments to address the injunction.
