While an internal commission identified “fragilidades” (weaknesses) and “inconsistências” (inconsistencies) in the competition between Ticketmaster and NewC, it recommended the Ticketmaster proposal. The transition is currently subject to a legal dispute with the current membership manager, Feng, who alleges the club ignored contractual rights of preference. São Paulo’s legal department maintains the termination is valid, noting a rescission fee estimated at R$3.7 million.

Parallel to the ticketing deal, the club is intensifying negotiations with Cimed for the Morumbis stadium naming rights, seeking a partner capable of paying approximately R$60 million annually, up from the current R$25 million.

Following the council's approval—which passed with 184 votes in favor and 44 against—Ticketmaster provided an immediate R$8 million advance. The club utilized these funds to settle one month of overdue image rights, though three months of outstanding image rights payments remain.
