Cornwall Council Announces Multiple Road Closures for Gas Works and Repairs

Cornwall Council and local authorities have scheduled a series of road closures across the county. In Launceston, the B3254 between Rockwell and St Stephen’s Hill will be closed from 7 pm on 3 August to 7 am the following day for cover replacement, and Buckles Hill will be shut on 5 August for ducting works. In Bude, a footpath will be closed 24 hours a day from 4 August to 14 September for gas‑main replacement, and Holnicote Road will be closed from 3 August to 4 September for the same work.

In Saltash, Hillside Road and several adjoining streets (Lower Port View, Higher Port View, Culver Road) will be closed from 3 August to 21 August for gas‑main replacement by Wales and West utilities. Church Hill in Hessenford will be closed from 17 August to 21 September for wall repairs. All closures maintain pedestrian access to properties and alternative routes are signed on site.
