Cornwall Council announces upcoming road closures

Cornwall Council has announced several upcoming road and footpath closures across various regions in Cornwall to facilitate utility and infrastructure works.

In North Cornwall, Union Hill in Stratton will close from September 7 to September 9 for cabling and desilting works. In Bude, Coast Road will undergo a 24-hour weekday closure between September 7 and September 9 for pipe repairs. Additionally, North Beer Lane in Launceston is scheduled for closure from September 21 to September 29 for National Grid electric connection works.

In South East Cornwall, Passage Lane in Fowey will close on September 7 for overhead connection works, and Browns Hill will close from September 22 to September 24 for BT ducting works. In Lostwithiel, an emergency closure of a footpath between South Street and Quay Street is expected to remain in place until late September.
