Coro Lirico Siciliano to perform Franco Battiato tribute in Centuripe

The Coro Lirico Siciliano, directed by Francesco Costa, will perform a tribute concert dedicated to the late Italian composer Franco Battiato. Titled ‘Battiato Tribute - La Cura dell'Eterno’, the event is scheduled for September 6, 2026, at the Teatro della Dogana in Centuripe.

The performance aims to celebrate Battiato’s eclectic musical legacy, which spanned genres from progressive rock and electronic music to opera and sacred compositions. The concert will feature arrangements blending pop and lyrical styles, utilizing a soloist, choir, orchestra, and band. Special guest Rita Botto is also set to appear.
