Earlier in the month, the Franco Battiato Foundation and manager Francesco Cattini welcomed Federico Mecozzi’s national instrumental tour, “Traiettorie impercettibili,” which reinterprets Battiato’s repertoire through various instruments and electronics. Additionally, the 7 August “Terme dei Papi Summer Live Show” in Viterbo honored singer-songwriter Franco Califano through a program of comedy and musical arrangements performed by Maurizio Mattioli and Alberto Laurenti. On 27 August, the Teatro dell'Efebo in Agrigento hosted “Battiato Tribute – La cura dell’eterno” as part of the “Efebo in Musica” 2026 program. This symphonic-vocal performance featured the Coro Lirico Siciliano, conducted by Maestro Francesco Costa, alongside vocalist Rita Botta.
