Coros introduces Dura 2 Solar GPS cycling computer

Coros has unveiled the Dura 2 Solar, a premium GPS cycling computer designed for long-distance riding and bikepacking. The device features a 3.5-inch color Memory-in-Pixel (MiP) touchscreen designed for outdoor legibility and a lightweight construction of carbon fiber and aluminum, weighing 99 grams.

A key feature is the integrated solar panel, which Coros claims can recover up to two hours of battery life for every hour of direct sunlight exposure. Without solar assistance, the device offers up to 120 hours of battery life in standard GPS mode or 70 hours when using dual-frequency GPS.

The Dura 2 Solar includes advanced navigation capabilities, sensor compatibility, and voice control. While the solar charging is optimized for daylight, factors such as cloud cover, shade, and screen brightness will affect the actual energy gains.
