Corporate innovation drives shared value and agrifoodtech growth in Peru and Chile
Business initiatives in Peru and Chile are increasingly integrating social and environmental challenges into core corporate strategies to drive competitiveness and growth.
In Peru, the ‘Empresas que Transforman’ initiative, supported by IPAE Acción Empresarial, Grupo RPP, and the Asociación Frieda y Manuel Delgado Parker, has recognized over 90 business initiatives across five editions. These projects focus on areas such as financial inclusion, circular economy, supplier development, employability, health, and education. By linking social and environmental responses to business decisions, these companies aim to improve productivity and strengthen value chains.
In Chile, the Carozzi Sinergia Startup program, in collaboration with agrifoodtech accelerator Eatable Adventures, recently completed its second edition. The program received 183 applications from 26 countries. Four selected startups will move toward implementation, focusing on strategic challenges including new product development, consumer data management, regulatory adaptation, and the valorization of waste through circular economy practices.
