Corporate innovation and agrifoodtech in Peru and Chile
Overview
In Peru, the ‘Empresas que Transforman’ initiative, supported by IPAE Acción Empresarial, Grupo RPP, and the Asociación Frieda y Manuel Delgado Parker, has recognized more than 90 business initiatives over five editions. These projects aim to integrate social and environmental challenges into core corporate strategies to drive productivity and strengthen value chains. Key focus areas include financial inclusion, the circular economy, supplier development, employability, health, and education.
In Chile, the Carozzi Sinergia Startup program, working with the agrifoodtech accelerator Eatable Adventures, recently concluded its second edition. Following 183 applications from 26 countries, four startups were selected to address strategic challenges such as new product development, consumer data management, regulatory adaptation, and waste valorization through circular economy practices.
